My Story

In 2023, I stumbled back into reading thanks to A Court of Thorns and Roses, and I haven't looked up since. What started as a late-night obsession of a romantasy with big wing energy, quickly spiraled into a year of deep dives on BookTok, edits on Bookstagram, and a full-blown addiction to books and every kind of bookish merch I could get my hands on. (Yes, I do have too many bookmarks - and no, I'm not sorry.)

By January of 2025, I launched a book club for my little hometown, Lit Happens. The community we've built upon the love of books in all genres made me realize something important: The dream of opening a bookstore wasn't just wishful thinking. It was the next chapter.

So, here we are: The Mossy Spine. A little boho goth, a little forest witch energy, and a whole lot of love for stories that keep you up all night. You'll find books here (starting with the romance reads that sparked it all), plus carefully chosen goodies for fellow bookworms (and book dragons) - stickers, totes, bookmarks, candles, and more.
